Car Parking in Rydal
Shown on the map above. Please park carefully, as roads are used by essential services and farm vehicles.
Please remember this is a working village
The village welcomes visitors, and there is a car park on the hill by Cote How. There are also two large car parks at White Moss at the north end of the lake towards Grasmere, often under used.
There is some parking on the hill by the churchyard, Beyond Rydal Hall's gate parking is obstructive to access for farm traffic, residents utilities, essential deliveries and emergency services. The hill is an unadopted private road, and anyone parking should be aware that this is at your own risk as there may be no insurance cover.
Please use the car parks or the spaces by the churchyard, and park with care and consideration.
